Dr Haoyang LI received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2023. Before that, he received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2018. His research interests include data management, data-driven machine learning, security, and large language models.

(Distinction) and PhD degrees in computer science from the City University of Hong Kong in 2011 and 2018 respectively. His research works were published in international journals such as Computers & Education, IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies, and Journal of Computer Assisted Learning, as well as conference proceedings such as IEEE Virtual Reality conference and the International Conference on Blended Learning.
